The Standing Committee of Nurses of the EU (PCN) developed a project co-funded by Health and Consumer Protection Directorate-General, "Continuous Professional Training Programme for Nurses in Public Health within the European Union", and developed a curriculum and guidelines for this programme.  Purpose of the evaluation As an essential component of the project, a research strategy has been developed in order to evaluate the programme and to compare outcomes in different countries. Your contribution to this evaluation is essential and will be valuable to identify and tackle the barriers you faced in carrying out this project locally. It will also be a support for planning and improving the effectiveness of the Public Health Training Programme. To participate in this inquiry you need to be involved in a course! There are three categories of evaluation: a. Co-ordinator Evaluation This form should be completed when a course is finished. To complete this form it will be necessary to obtain information from both the Student and Teacher evaluations. b. Teacher Evaluation To be completed by all teachers involved in the programme. c. Student Evaluation This form includes a section which should be completed by students for each teacher who taught in the programme and a section that evaluates the course itself and should be completed on completion of the course. All the information that you will provide will be strictly confidential and will be available only to members of the research team.
